Free MD CDL Double/Triple Trailers Practice Test 2024

Thinking about adding the T-Double/Triple Trailers endorsement to your Maryland Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)? The main challenge is passing a 20-question multiple-choice knowledge test. You’ll need a score of 80% (16 correct answers) to pass this test. After passing, you’ll receive the “T” endorsement on your CDL, authorizing you to pull two or three trailers (where laws allow) and drive combination vehicles that require this added expertise (Maryland CDL Handbook 2024).

In the Old Line State, even with a T-Double/Triple Trailers endorsement, you’re only allowed to pull double trailers. Rest assured, though, earning this endorsement not only increases your standing in the transport industry but dramatically raises your job prospects and earning potential. Double trailers are often used throughout Maryland for the transport of packages, dry goods, food and beverage products, and raw goods like paper or plastic, which are bulky and require extra space but stay within weight limits for transport. You may be saying to yourself, “This sounds incredible! But how can I best prepare for the test?”

With so much online information available, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. A systematic, focused approach is what you need, and that’s exactly what our online Maryland CDL Double/Triple Trailers practice test offers. Up to date as of December 2024, it includes 20 multiple-choice questions that resemble what you will face at the MVA on your test day!

As you work through our online practice test, you’ll receive instant, in-depth feedback on your answers. Get a question wrong? No problem! You’ll immediately see why a different response is correct. Gone are the days of being bombarded with feedback on multiple categories at the end of a test. Our real-time approach helps you remember the content as you go.

In Maryland, the only step required to add the “T” endorsement to your Class A CDL is to pass the knowledge test. There is no additional skills test. Once you’ve prepared, practiced with our free tests, and feel confident, simply apply at the MVA. Bring your documents, pay the required fee, and pass the test to officially add the endorsement.
